Mariana
Mariana shoes are manufactured in the south part of Brazil in the Novo Hamburgo area. This area was developed in the late 1930’s and 1940’s as Germans and Italians fled WWII. The shoe making has the same handcrafting characteristics and attention to detail as you would find in Italy’s finest factories.
Vegetable Tanning leather is a process of removing the protein in the hide with Tree Bark extract. This makes the tanning process liquid ECO friendly. The process gives a soft feel and rich colors.
